Coronation Street viewers were left feeling a bit queasy over a scene involving Lauren Bolton. This week marked the return of troubled teen Lauren , who had been missing and presumed dead for months.It was only last month that viewers found out that dodgy lawyer Joel Deering was responsible for the young girl's disappearance. And this week, it was revealed that Lauren is actually alive and has been in hiding.
However, she was caught by her attacker Joel, and forced into a family room. A series of flashbacks throughout the episode revealed the truth about Lauren's disappearance and her relationship with Joel, reports the Express. Viewers also discovered what exactly happened on the day she vanished. Before Joel arrived at her flat, Lauren was seen in her kitchen listening to the radio while making a bacon sandwich.
On X, previously known as Twitter, one individual didn't hide their fury: "The most horrific point so far tonight, that amount of sauce on that bacon."
