Coronation Street fans reckon they know who will help Paul end his life
Coronation Street viewers believe an unexpected character may assist Paul Foreman in ending his life. Peter Ash's character was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year and has been increasingly struggling with speech, requiring constant care. On Friday , the soap aired a special episode dedicated to him, showing the harsh reality of living with MND. The episode centred on a day in the life of Paul and his husband Billy Mayhew as they enjoyed a special day together.
Initially heartbroken, Billy refused - but eventually agreed to proceed with the plan. Their plan was interrupted when Chesney dropped by due to a family emergency. Because one of his children had an accident, he needed Billy and Paul to babysit his other children for the night. The uncles agreed, and the children slept over, throwing a spanner in Paul's plan to end his life.
