Coronation Street and Emmerdale have been hit with a huge schedule shake-up as they're pulled from their regular slots on ITV to make way for the Rugby World Cup
Coronation Street and Emmerdale are set to face even more schedule changes now it's the final week of September as ITV's stalwart soaps are set to clash with the channel's coverage of the Rugby World Cup.
This is to compensate for the soap being taken off-air on Friday 29 September, as it would clash with the match between New Zealand and Italy at 7.30pm.On Monday 2 October, scheduling will be back to normal, with Corrie and Emmerdale in its usual time-slots once more. EastEnders was the notable star of the show, with the likes of Lola Pearce star Danielle Harold taking home the gong for best actress, and her on-screen husband Jay Brown actor Jamie Borthwick nabbing best actor.
