ITV Coronation Street fans think they've figured out who will adopt Lauren Bolton's baby son, Frankie. The young mum, portrayed by Cait Fitton, gave birth in August after being drugged by her wicked solicitor Joel Deering in a murder attempt.
But in a plot twist last week, it was revealed that Lauren was the one who delivered the final fatal blow, in an effort to stop Joel from strangling Max . Max and Lauren covered their tracks and disposed of Joel's body over a bridge into a river, making it look like a suicide. Once inside the interview room, Lauren initially maintained her false narrative but ultimately broke down and confessed to delivering the fatal strike. Police officer Kit, played by Jacob Roberts, then delivered the devastating news that Lauren could face a murder charge, leaving her facing the grim reality of potentially being parted from Frankie permanently.
