Fans of the ITV soap were treated to a very unexpected guest
Coronation Street fans flocked to social media during the rare Tuesday night trip to the cobbles as they spotted a very familiar face - from a rival soap. Due to another shake-up to ITV's schedule, the ITV soap was back for a second outing instead of airing in its usual Friday slot.
At first, things appeared to be promising, but Cassie Plummer soon put her foot in it when she revealed that she was a recovering drug addict and that she had learnt all of her vocational skills while serving time at her majesty's pleasure something which didn't go down too well with owner Kevin. And Kevin's attitude soon changed when Ange came back to pick up her car. She seemed interested in what they had to offer and with Kevin in a bit of a flap, Abi took on the role of proving to Ange they were the garage to go with and tried to apologise for Cassie's comments.
But viewers were a little distracted from the contents of the scenes as they realised where they had seen Ange before. As already mentioned, she was played by Nicole Barber-Lane, who played Hollyoaks legend Myra McQueen. She played the fan-favourite on and off for 13 years, making her debut all the way back in 2006 before leaving in 2019.
