Coronation Street fans have only just realised that Emrhys Cooper, who stars as Rowan Cunliffe on the ITV soap, was in a hugely popular movie 16 years ago. The 39 year old actor made his debut on Coronation Street in March this year as villain Rowan, who has been causing chaos on the cobbles.
It's all set to unfold in upcoming scenes, but viewers have spotted something recognisable about soap star Emrhys. Before joining Corrie, Emrhys played a role in the musical comedy, Mamma Mia! the movie, alongside a star-studded cast of Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth. Craig also secured roles in the movies, Walk a Mile in My Pradas, Till We Meet Again, the horror film Dreamcatcher, and his award-winning directorial debut in The Shuroo Process. In TV, Craig starred as Richard in Desperate Housewives for one episode before securing the lead role of Alistair in the Emmy-nominated series Vanity.
Reminiscing about the experience, he shared in February: "I can't it's been nearly 20 years since I shot the music video for ."
