She has since formed a strong relationship with her grandson and his family, even living with them at No.9 Coronation Street. But during the five years she's been in his life, Evelyn has been hiding a huge secret from him and it all came spilling out in the form of his real mum, Cassie Plummer.Last month, Cassie, played by Claire Sweeney, tracked down her mum to the street but when Evelyn spotted her, she ignored her.
Eventually, in a bid to help her daughter, Evelyn packed her bags and took Cassie away from the street in the hope of getting her sober. They've not been seen on screen for weeks but on Wednesday night , Cassie was back in Weatherfield after picking up a message from Tyrone on her mum's phone. And it was Ruby who pointed out that Tyrone could have brothers and sisters that he doesn't even know about. And it didn't take Corrie fans long to agree on social media as they shared their thoughts.
