Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Paul Foreman is set to break down in tears next week as he prepares to say goodbye to his loved ones.

In next week's episodes, Paul struggles with his speech. His words are slurred and his new personal assistant finds it hard to understand him. Billy tries to downplay the situation in front of Paul, but he is clearly worried about the future. Paul is upset when he learns that Summer plans to postpone her American course to stay with the family until he passes away. He tells her not to give up her dreams for him.
Peter Ash, who portrays Paul on the ITV soap, previously confessed he had "mixed feelings" about the storyline.
