Kenneth Davies, 70, and his wheelchair-bound wife Christine, 69, moved to Ayr last year and since then their new home has been plagued with water ingress issues.
A husband with a disabled wife says their new life in Ayrshire has been 'ruined' by a dispute with a roofing firm.
Kenneth says his property has multiple points of water ingress - and damage to a velux window - which he claims was caused during previous works by the firm. “We knew Ayr because we had spent an enjoyable winter stay in our motor home here about 15 years ago, so we bought our semi-detached bungalow on the internet, without seeing it.
“When it rains from a certain direction, it comes flooding through onto our bed,” said Kenneth. "I have lost faith in these traders.”
