Championship side Coventry City will face Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-finals next month
The Sky Blues beat Wolverhampton Wanderers in their quarter-final thanks to Haji Wright's 100th-minute winner at Molineux on Saturday afternoon. United, meanwhile, turned things around in extra time to beat Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.
United were beaten in last season's final by Manchester City, while Coventry have not played in an FA Cup semi-final since they won the competition back in 1987, the club's only major trophy. And now the Championship club have confirmed they are awaiting information from the Football Association on the date of the tie and the club’s ticket allocation.
“The Sky Blues secured their place in the last four of the FA Cup for the first time since 1987, and only the second time in the Club’s history, following the incredible 3-2 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
