Covid-19 cases are on the rise again in the US, as more and more states have loosened restrictions, NBCNews figures showed Monday.

Tony Evers declared another public health emergency after new cases in Wisconsin spiked by more than 100 percent.Covid-19 cases are on the rise again across the United States as more and more states have loosened restrictions put into place to slow the spread of the killer virus,On Friday, the U.S. logged 55,759 cases — the largest single day total in a month.

Forty states and territories have seen an increase over the last two weeks as of Saturday, just days after the U.S. logged its 7 millionth confirmed coronavirus case.with a 128 percent jump in new cases followed by Utah , Wisconsin and Colorado . “We are seeing an alarming increase in cases across our state, especially on campus. We need folks to start taking this seriously, and young people especially — please stay home as much as you are able, skip heading to the bars, and wear a mask whenever you go out. We need your help to stop the spread of this virus, and we all have to do this together.”
