Cristiano Ronaldo says he received letter from late Queen over heartbreaking death of baby
Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up on the poignant letter he received from Queen Elizabeth II and her family after the death of his newborn baby son.
Following the heartbreaking news, the sportsman was sent a wave of support from football fans and even the Royal Family. "Not only Liverpool, but all England. I received a letter from The Queen's family as well … And, [that] surprised me a lot…" The footballer also opened up on how tough it was to break the devastating news to the rest of his children when he and Georgina returned home from the hospital.
"After one week I say: 'Let's be up front and let's be honest with the kids, let's say that, Angel, which is the name, they go to the Heaven.'
