Leeds United are ominously awaiting the first transfer bids for star player Crysencio Summerville - but the player has been warned about the pitfalls of moving to the wrong club this summer.
The glamour of a transfer to Anfield or Stamford Bridge would be hugely appealing to anyone, but Goodman insists there's a lot to be said for moving to a club where first-team football is going to be more realistic. Both Liverpool and Chelsea have a wealth of attacking options already at their disposal and, while Summerville would back himself to impress, the challenge would be greater.
“Leeds have to wait for a suitable offer, absolutely, but clubs will know there’s a need for Leeds to bring big money in and will play into that – that’s the nature of the beast, the way football is.”
