The deadline to register to vote in the November municipal elections is Oct. 23.
The Cumberland County Bureau of Elections will observe extended hours to give voters more time to drop off their mail-in or absentee ballots.No additional voter services will be available during the extended hours.
Voters can also drop off their ballots during the Bureau's regular hours on Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 7, from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. The ballots can be hand-delivered to the Bureau of Elections, located at 1601 Ritner Highway, Suite 201, in Carlisle. The last day to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot is Tuesday, Oct. 31. Postmarks will not be accepted.
