A 22-year-old Sheetz employee sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl last fall in the store’s bathroom, police said in court documents charging him with rape. Demarcus S. Johnson, of Shippensburg, is charged with 10 offenses — including rape and statutory sexual assault — for an incident police said took place Oct. 30, 2022, in the bathroom of the Sheetz on the 300 block of East King Street in Shippensburg.
Management at the Shippensburg Sheetz would not say whether Johnson was still employed there and referred all questions to a corporate spokesperson, who was not immediately available for comment.
