Bizarre price increases at Wetherspoons have got confused tongues wagging after one popular food vlogger highlighted the changes on the menu on a recent visit.
The ‘food obsessed’ vlogger noted that while the burgers were nice, but the onion rings were “absolutely cremated” – the quality of the food was not the main reason for the video. She noted that the prices had gone up, and said usually in the UK, prices are rounded up for a more equal number, but this was not the case here.
“£4.03 for soup, £5.54 for nachos – like what? £5.27 for a panini and a drink – what is actually going on? She had captioned her video: “Can anyone help my confusion? Was someone drunk on cheap pints when pricing the Wetherspoons menu??”
