A Nottinghamshire man has been jailed over the crime
Doors and windows of a pub were locked when a barred customer turned up with a knife and made terrifying threats directed at the landlord. 10 people were marooned inside The Rising Sun pub, in the South Derbyshire village of Willington, when offender Ryan Reynolds held the four-inch blade outside.
He was kept at bay as he argued outside on July 2 this year. When asked why he had brought a knife, he said: "I'm going to end you".Police were called and Reynolds threw the knife behind him. Roger Wilson, mitigating, said Reynolds felt he was unreasonably excluded from the watering hole along with other pubs - and he took it out on the landlord of The Rising Sun.
Dawn Pritchard, prosecuting, said police were called to homeless accommodation in Mapperley Road, where Reynolds had a small bottle of Vodka, appeared to be drunk and was rambling loudly.
