Moose showed off his skills in footage caught on a camera installed to keep an eye on the mischievous dog
Many dogs hate taking pills and owners will have to hide them in food or inside a treat to trick their pets into taking what's good for them. But 18-month-old puppy, Moose, was caught on a Ring camera jumping onto the kitchen counter to steal a bottle of dog probiotics - before eating the lot.
Owner Lucy Bryce said: “We wouldn't think in a million years he'd be up in the night stealing it [the probiotics] and eating the whole pot! Needless to say he was nice and firm with a very healthy gut the following week.” From opening windows and climbing out onto their front lawn, to lifting the latch of the garage with his snout, Lucy says there are many ways Moose has gotten up to no good since the Bryces adopted him. After being found abandoned on the streets, fending for himself and scavenging for food in Hungary, they adopted him through the Vizslamentés UK Rescue Trust, a UK based Rescue Trust supporting the only specialist HPR breed rescue in Hungary.
“We purchased the extra cameras in particular to see what our new dog was up to whilst we were asleep or out of the house, and of course extra security. This proved invaluable to see him [Moose] committing crime!”
