As of Monday, a mask advisory is no longer in effect for Cuyahoga County.
According to the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, the CDC recommends those inareas get all their COVID shots, including boosters, and get tested if they have COVID symptoms.
According to a news release, those in “high risk” areas are advised to talk with their doctor about wearing a mask and other safety practices.As long as Cuyahoga County remains in thecategories put forth by the CDC, masks will be optional for most staff members, according to the release. Masks are still required for those who interact with individuals at high risk for severe disease or who cannot be vaccinated against COVID, the board of health said.
