The female cyclist was taken to Royal Salford Hospital with serious injuries
A cyclist suffered 'serious injuries' after crashing with a pedestrian on the main road through Alderley Edge. London Road was closed off as emergency services were called to the scene on Saturday afternoon.
Cheshire Police say the cyclist, a 60-year-old woman, remains in hospital and launched an appeal for anyone with video footage of the collision to get in touch. The incident took place outside the Tesco Express store at around 1.10pm. A spokesman for the force said: "Officers attended the scene and found that there had been a collision between a pedal cyclist and a pedestrian.
