Colin Dolan is now urgently looking for one stranger who was there at the time
A dad is urgently looking for the person who helped him after he took an overdose at the Liver Building.
The 59-year-old founded Liverpool Football Therapy in 2019 and has gone on to help dozens of people over the years, but in the last 26 months he has attempted to take his own life twice, with the most recent, on July 2, leaving him moments from death. Next thing he knew, he was lying awake in Liverpool Royal Hospital at 1am the following day. He told the ECHO: "I'm bipolar so it just happened so quickly, I went from feeling okay to being severely depressed and suicidal. I was quickly at the point of no return, it's a difficult thing to put into words."
He said: "If it wasn't for this good Samaritan I would have died. I don't know who this person is. I've asked the hospital and the paramedics but no one knows. I would like to reach out to this person and speak to them and just thank them.
