A dad who parked outside B&Q for just 21 minutes has been left furious after receiving a £100 fine.
More than a month after leaving the B&Q, by the Edge Lane Shopping Park, Michael received a fine through the post on March 27.He opened it two days later and his heart ‘sank’. Michael, 31, also claims the signs in the car park are not clear enough to read, especially at night.He added: ‘The signs are dotted around the car park, which you can’t see at night time, and in this case it was the early hours of the morning.
It was issued on Wednesday, March 8, according to the Echo, which means he not given the chance to pay the discount price of £60, as it went over the 14-day threshold.
