Ramaswamy said he’s best positioned among those in the Republican field to campaign on this issue. “They do it without ever getting the permission of the people whose capital they’re using,” he said. “That's really what's going on here.”

The bank did not change its policy governing financing of oil and gas, but it said such financing declined by more than 20% last year. Currently, the U.S. has just 92 operating nuclear reactors. GAS STOVE WATCH: The Consumer Product Safety Commission voted to seek public input on the dangers of gas stoves. Though gas stoves are used in 40% of U.S. homes, they also emit certain air pollutants levels deemed unsafe by the EPA and WHO. Restrictions are already popular at the state and local level, and nearly 100 U.S. cities and counties have adopted policies either restricting their use, or to begin phasing them out in new construction, and at least 20 states have introduced or advanced similar efforts.
