Thomas Kirk has been handed a 14-year sentence
A child rapist from Nottingham forced his young victim to relive her horrific ordeal by giving evidence at his trial. Thomas Kirk denied having any sexual contact with the youngster who kept the attacks secret until years later, Nottingham Crown Court heard.
Handing Kirk a 14-year jail sentence, Judge Nirmal Shant KC said: “Your sexual behaviour towards her started when she was very young and it is right she was extremely vulnerable due to her extreme youth. Victoria Rose, prosecuting, said the offences all took place when the victim was under the age of 10. She said on three occasions Kirk touched the girl sexually and on one occasion he raped her.
