Happy birthday to these two sweet ladies!
“I didn’t know I had this many friends,” Ruth laughed.
Both ladies have been living at Daphne Gardens for about a year. Ruth is a huge Atlanta Braves fan and has a big screen TV to catch all the action. Her favorite snacks include Baby Ruth candy bars and peppermints. Virginia considers herself a big foodie who enjoys just about everything. Cornbread and fried chicken are her favorites. She loves her sweet tea and plays bingo every week. They offered advice on living a fulfilling life that was hard to argue with.“Live right. Don’t drink too much,” added Virginia.
The celebration got a lot of attention. The folks at Daphne Gardens said some drivers pulled over and took pictures of the decorations out front. Others even called the facility, wishing the ladies a Happy Birthday.
