Blues playing catch-up ahead of crucial Windsor Park showdown with league leaders
David Healy insists his Linfield team will keep going in the title race until it's "mathematically impossible".
"We will be doing our best on Monday against Larne," he said. "We've always kept going until it's mathematically impossible at this football club even under previous regimes and managers."We will turn up on Monday and hopefully be hungry to go and beat Larne, whether it's for the league championship or just for pride. We need to go and do our jobs and hopefully do it a little bit better than what we did against Coleraine.
"If we're good enough and perform well enough to beat Larne on Monday then I have every faith in a club like Coleraine to go and give it everything they have for the integrity of the league in the final game of the season at Inver Park. They may do like most teams and go to Larne and lose, but I've absolutely no doubt their mindset will be to go there and give it their best shot as they did against us last week.
"Nobody needs to hear me talking about this but we're missing key individuals in and around the squad," he said. "Our bench against Coleraine, no disrespect to them, was young. Our oldest sub was Michael Newberry who's 26 then you're going down to 22, 21, 17.
