Linfield boss knows his side cannot afford any slip sups at this stage of the season
David Healy admitted he was sad to see his old friend Warren Feeney leave Glentoran as he prepares to face another new face in the Oval hot-seat.
"We’ve known each other since we were about 13 or 14 years of age and we played together for the national team. We’ve been friends for a long time. I’ve huge amount of respect for Warren, he’s a good man and a good manager.“There is a new man in charge, but it’s the same set of players. Decky is someone I have worked with in the early stages of my coaching education. I worked with him at the IFA, I have huge respect for him...I look forward to pitting my wits against him.
We are now at the business end of the season with Linfield only having six League games and the Cup tie left to play. Healy knows his side cannot afford any more slip ups if they are to add more silverware to the trophy cabinet this season.
