A lovely warm day, a clear blue sky, a thrilling victory and a final goal from a home-grown youngster. It could not have gone much better.

This ignores the fact Fornals wanted to leave because he had not been playing and Benrahma was unhappy because he had not been starting. Moyes tried to address that by bringing Kalvin Phillips on loan from Manchester City in January, but the move has been a failure.
