Davide opens up on Ekin-Su split dashing fans hopes of returning to Love Island LoveIsland
Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti has dashed fans hopes that he could be returning to the show following his split from Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
Following the split, fans speculated that Davide could be on his way back to find love for a second time after he jetted off to Ibiza. But in a new statement released by the influencer on Sunday, 2 July, he has shut down those claims.That statement comes just days after Davide posted a picture of himself getting out of the pool in Ibiza. He captioned that snap saying: "Guess who's coming back" with a cool emoji and an island emoji.
He said: "Posting publicly about the break up was extremely difficult yet necessary, despite the urge to keep it private, and contrary to what Chinese whispers are saying I didn't blindside her as she was fully aware about my intention to post. And at first, she even agreed to post at the same time, she did change her mind last minute though.
"This has been one of the hardest things I ever did in my life and there's no perfect way to navigate a breakup."Later in the statement, Davide thanked everyone for their supportive and kind messages. He also vowed to continue being the "genuine, loving and fun" person he is.
