DAVIS — A 21-year-old former UC Davis student arrested Wednesday for allegedly committing three stabbings, including two that were fatal, within the last week attended high school in Oakland, according to reports.Thursday, Davis Police Chief Darren Pytel said Carlos Dominguez was taken into custody after 15 people called in reports of a person who matched the description of the suspect in a local park.
UC Davis in a statement said Dominquez was in his third year at university until April 25, “when he was separated for academic reasons.” Davis is located about 70 miles northeast of San Francisco and along Interstate 80 and has 67,000 residents, in addition to more than 13,000 students who live on the UC Davis campus.
