Bus passengers have been told to expect 'extensive' diversions during next month's UCI World Cycling Championships event.
Roads will be closed in the city centre, west end and east end with an expected attendance of up to 45,000 along the routes and up to 5,000 people visiting the official fan zone in George Square.Bus services will be particularly affected between Friday 4 and Tuesday 8 as well as Saturday 12 and Sunday 13.
Graeme Macfarlan, Commercial Director for First Bus in Scotland, said: “We are working hard to ensure we can keep people connected across Glasgow during the UCI World Cycling Championships.
