Members of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 1746 union, which represents about 500 social workers, will hold a “safety rally” at 4 p.m. on Wednesday in front of the Jane Edna Hunter Social Services office building to call for better working conditions.

It's also where children are housed when providers are unable or unwilling to care for them.
