A 2020 holiday season release from Dec. 4 is planned for the family-friend pic. The United States Postal Service allowed Nachman and her filmmaking team access to their ‘Operation Santa’ program during the 2019 holiday season. Each year, hundreds of thousands of letters sent to Santa arrive at post offices countrywide and the United States Postal Service has made the dreams of children-in-need come true by sending back a written response and an enclosed toy from the North Pole.
Traveling the country much like Santa apparently does on Christmas Eve, the film focuses on select ‘Operation Santa’ centers, in major cities like New York City and in small towns where the Post Office is vital to the community.which puts a spotlight on the incredible individuals behind projects like ‘Operation Santa’.
