Former Bohs boss arrives steps into Oval hot seat following Warren Feeney's departure
Glentoran have moved quickly to fill the void left by Warren Feeney's departure by appointing Declan Devine for the remainder of the season.
Prior to his time at the Bohs Devine had two spells in charge of his hometown club Derry City, and four years as Northern Ireland Under-16 manager.Devine is expected to be at Stangmore Park this afternoon as the Glens take on Dungannon Swifts in the Irish League. Former Cliftonville boss Paddy McLaughlin is stil the favourite to take over at The Oval ahead of next season.
A total of 16 supporters' clubs have written to Pour, claiming the club's problems "run much deeper than the man in the dugout". "Instead, we wish to draw attention to our owner exactly what has been going on at our football club during his ownership which has led to failure after failure both on and off the pitch, despite the money he has invested. We as a union of supporters clubs all shared the same views on the night and felt our best course of action was to write directly to Ali Pour outlining exactly what our observations and concerns are.
