SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT What Happened in Episode 2 of Demon Slayer's Swordsmith Village Arc? In the second episode, "Yoriichi Type Zero," Tanjiro met Kotetsu, a 10-year-old who carries the burden of being a guardian of Demon Slayer's strongest fight, the Yoriichi Type Zero training doll.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3 Will Reveal a Powerful New Sword Given the way the previous episode ended and the upcoming episode's title, the third installment of this season will uncover more information about this mysterious sword. Since the doll was built three hundred years ago and has not been destroyed in all this time - and the episode is "A Sword From Over 300 Years Ago" - it stands to reason that the sword will be three hundred years old.

Tanjiro has been recovering from the epic fight in Demon Slayer's Entertainment District arc, which left him in a two-month coma. It was during this fight that he chipped his sword, resulting in him needing another weapon. Considering he is in the Swordsmith Village and has need of a weapon, this 300-year-old sword may prove to be his next blade if it is in good enough condition despite its age.
