Denise Welsh would pledge allegiance to Prince Harry and Meghan over 'outdated' King Charles
Denise Welch has made another controversial comment about the monarchy ahead of King Charles' Coronation at Westminster Abbey this weekend.
It comes as the public have been invited to ‘cry out and swear allegiance’ in a chorus of millions to the 74-year-old King on Saturday in a historical first that the public is being encouraged to actively join in on the landmark event. "However, of late, I am pledging allegiance, if any, to Harry and Meghan. Because of that, I won’t be pledging my allegiance. I don’t even know what you’re pledging for.
Co-star Ruth Langsford meanwhile had taken a poll of the studio audience to gather their opinions on the upcoming Coronation, with only one person putting their hand up to say they’ll be pledging allegiance.
