Florida will have little political relevancy due to its majority-Republican voter base, according to Gov. DeSantis. The state supported Trump in 2016 and 2020, though has long been considered a swing state in presidential elections. I remember in 2016, 2020, you turn on the TV, and it’s like nonstop ads,” Gov. DeSantis recalled. “I don’t think that’s going to be the case this time.”
