Deshaun Watson did some light throwing in the open part of practice Thursday.
BEREA, Ohio -- Deshaun Watson did some light throwing in practice on Thursday in the early part open to the media after resting his sore right throwing shoulder on Wednesday.
Watson skipped plenty of turns, but tossed the ball during individual drills, and then threw a short pass in the right flat during early passing drills. He also skipped reps during that short drill. Offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt acknowledged that Watson hurt the shoulder on his 10-yard scramble to set up Jerome Ford’s 3 yard TD run when he took a hard shot by Titans safety Amani Hooker.
He said he expects Watson to play on Sunday vs. the Ravens and noted he wouldn’t miss a big game like this.
