Quentin Tarantino was like, fan-geeking me.'”While the song Take Me Away was originally by the Australian punk rock band Lash, Freaky Friday helped popularize it during that final scene.
Last week, pop band Meet Me @ the Alter covered the song for the deluxe version of their upcoming album Past // Present // Future. The band said in a press release Lash had a big influence on them growing up.
