A distraught dog owner camped by a Perthshire loch made a frantic dash to the vet after her pet choked on fishing hooks left by careless anglers.
A fishing line had four triple hooks in all on it, but a nearby angler came to Michelle’s aid and cut the line free to prevent one-year-old Bella from swallowing the remaining two hooks.Bella, cried throughout the rush to the emergency vet in Pitlochry, an hour’s drive away. “When I removed her muzzle to remove the hook, we noticed the fishing line had actually been swallowed.
