The president suggested that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and House Speaker Pelosi should themselves be impeached, accusing them of 'high crimes and misdemeanors.'
Pelosi's announcement came following whistleblower allegations that claimed Trump had asked Zelenskiy to investigate potential political rival Joe Biden. Aid to the country had been held up by Trump around the same time.
"Nancy Pelosi knew of all of the many Shifty Adam Schiff lies and massive frauds perpetrated upon Congress and the American people, in the form of a fraudulent speech knowingly delivered as a ruthless con, and the illegal meetings with a highly partisan 'Whistleblower' & lawyer," the president tweeted.
