ODOT spokesperson Brent Kovacs said the delays really come down to how unique the Center Street Bridge is. While the Center Street Bridge construction is being run by ODOT, the city is working to fix the Columbus Road Bridge, which runs north and south over the river and connects the area near Hoopples to Merwin’s Wharf.
