North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has seen his chances of being named Donald Trump's next running mate surge in recent days, according to bookmakers.Burgum, who ran a longshot campaign to be the 2024 Republican candidate before dropping out and endorsing Trump last December, has seen his odds of being the next potential GOP vice president increase following his recent appearance at a Trump rally in New Jersey, as other names have seemingly been crossed off the shortlist.
