Dozens of cars were hauled away from a beauty spot over the Easter weekend. The vehicles were towed away after police officers and recovery vehicles were called in as the vehicles were parked illegally. Warning signs were on clear display outside the park in question but motorists still parked illegally on the side of the road and rule breaking drivers came back to find they had vanished. The drama unfolded at the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park in Wales, after cars parked on the A5 in the Ogwen Valley and Pen-y-Pass over the bank holiday weekend. The Mirror reports local opinion was divided after images of the scene at Ogwen Valley were posted on Facebook by Cymuned Mynydd Eryri/Snowdonia Mountain Community on Sunday. Some criticised the drivers for ignoring the rules. Others singled out the authorities for not providing enough parking
