George Logan, best known for playing the character Dr Evadne Hinge in drag as part of the Hinge and Bracket comedy and musical act, has died at the age of 78.
Fyffe died in 2002 at the age of 60, after being diagnosed with colon cancer.
In addition to performing at famous venues such as the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, they also appeared in TV programmes such as BBC’s The Good Old Days and Dear Ladies with Gyles Brandreth. Tributes have poured in for Logan following the news of his death, with comedy writer and performer Julian Dutton tweeting: ‘RIP George Logan, Evadne Hinge of Hinge & Bracket.
