How many Rooms of Spirit and Time are out there?
With the return in Dragon Ball Super of one of the series’ mainstay characters, “Galactic Emperor” Frieza, fans may be left with more questions as Frieza has offered up some information regarding his most recent power-up that may change the landscape of Dragon Ball forever.

Granolah, Goku, and Vegeta have all given everything they could muster in order to have a chance at stopping Gas’ rampage. When Gas returns in a new, flesh-stripped and emaciated form, the unlikely trio come to a horrifying conclusion: Gas’ power is no longer bound to the state of his body.
Frieza's Return Creates A Big Mystery Around The Room Of Spirit And Time Frieza explains that he’s achieved a new form, dubbed Black Frieza. The tyrant proceeds to effortlessly take out both Goku and Vegeta in their most powerful states. Of course, there needs to be an explanation behind this new power, seeing as how the last time Frieza was relevant, he was getting thoroughly throttled by Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan.
This information drastically changes what fans know about the Room of Spirit and Time. Prior to Dragon Ball Super, it was more or less just assumed that Kami was the creator of the Room of Spirit and Time, or actually of the entrance located in his Lookout, which allows access to what is essentially another dimension. Now, it seems as if there are several creators of these rooms/entrances, considering that one also appeared in the Galactic Prisoner Saga, located on a different planet.
The Mysteries Of The Dragon Ball Universe Are Yet To Be Unraveled The ridiculous popularity of Frieza has kept him a series mainstay up until now, and it seems as though his character may finally be able to contribute more to the story of Dragon Ball Super than adding yet another sadistic despot. The mystery of the Rooms of Spirit and Time scattered throughout the universe could certainly contribute to expanding the lore of the Dragon Ball franchise.
