A driver was arrested on an intoxication manslaughter charge after a hit-and-run collision in Arlington killed a 33-year-old.
5:37 PM on Aug 27, 2023 CDTOfficers responded about 5:15 a.m. to the 3600 block of State Highway 360, according to police.
Investigators believe a 2012 Toyota Yaris was stalled in the outside lane facing southbound when a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado struck the Toyota causing the driver to be ejected. The driver, only identified as a 33-year-old, died at the scene.The truck continued driving and was followed by an off-duty police officer before Mansfield police was able to eventually stop the truck and make contact with the driver, police said.
