Because Tesla fans believe that the future Full Self Driving software will drive safer than humans, make fewer mistakes, and save lives. They even sometimes go as far as to say that FSD skeptics have blood on their hands, because they’re slowing down the deployment and costing lives that self-driving cars should have saved.
