A woman was pronounced dead following a crash on the North Side on Sunday morning, according to San Antonio police.
The crash happened around 10:20 a.m. in the 15000 block of Vance Jackson Road, just inside Loop 1604.
Police said the woman, 29, was driving a Ford Mustang and pulled out of an apartment complex. Her car was then struck by a Jeep Cherokee traveling northbound on Vance Jackson. The collision caused “significant damage” to the driver’s side of the Mustang, police said. The driver was taken to the hospital, where she died shortly after arriving.The driver of the Cherokee told police that she was unable to avoid the Mustang. SAPD said no charges are being filed at this time.
