Blackpool driver 'lucky nobody was killed' as dangerous chase tears through town - because passenger had broken curfew
An unlicensed driver led police on a dangerous, high speed chase where he was "lucky no-one was killed" - all because his passenger was breaking his curfew.
According to the prosecution, the chase lasted around 10 minutes and involved multiple blind turns which were taken at speed. Junctions and road signs were ignored as Hardwick desperately tried to feel the officers. Defending, Tom Lord said Hardwick was being "egged on" by his passengers and accepted he had done wrong. Mr Lord said: "He explains that there was a person who was in the car who was on a tagged curfew.
